Posted March 29, 2021 by RAU

SBC follows certain measures needed to reduce the risk of exposure and spread of

COVID-19. All members of the SBC community are directed to observe physical

distancing protocols, wear face masks and face shields in common areas and places

where individuals are likely to interact. Hand wash areas, sanitizers or alcohol are also

situated within sight and in communal areas. Employees, students, and visitors undergo

temperature checks at the gate before entering the school. The SBC Custodial Office routinely

performs cleaning and disinfection of workplaces and public areas.

New Automated Attendance Developed for SBC Employees

The College of Information Technology (CIT) initiated the development of a new Automated Attendance System using a QR code scanner. This is for the purpose of implementing the

computerization of the traditional logging in and logging out details of employees with a

view of attaining efficiency in record keeping and

management in tracking time spent by the employees in the school. This new system offers a contactless, safer, and cleaner alternative to stop the spread of germs amid the COVID-19
