Distribution of TES Credentials

UniFAST and CHED assure the grantees of the fast disbursement of stipend to TES grantees through a LandBank MasterCard Prepaid Card (LMPC). UniFAST provides TES Credentials to the grantees through the school for their application for LMPC via the UniFAST portal. March 15 and 16 are the schedule of the distribution. Prior to the distribution of TES credentials the school conducted an orientation on how to apply for the TES cards. The said orientation was done in four batches to comply with the health safety protocols.


CHED, DOH and RHU visit to SBC
SBC Community Urged to Observe Minimum Health Protocols

SBC follows certain measures needed to reduce the risk of exposure and spread of
COVID-19. All members of the SBC community are directed to observe physical
distancing protocols, wear face masks and face shields in common areas and places
where individuals are likely to interact. Hand wash areas, sanitizers or alcohol are also
situated within sight and in communal areas. Employees, students, and visitors undergo
temperature checks at the gate before entering the school. The SBC Custodial Office routinely
performs cleaning and disinfection of workplaces and public areas.


New Automated Attendance Developed for SBC Employees
The College of Information Technology (CIT) initiated the development of a new Automated Attendance System using a QR code scanner. This is for the purpose of implementing the
computerization of the traditional logging in and logging out details of employees with a
view of attaining efficiency in record keeping and
management in tracking time spent by the employees in the school. This new system offers a contactless, safer, and cleaner alternative to stop the spread of germs amid the COVID-19
pandemic.
CHED, IATF and RHU visit SBC for Inspection
Representatives from the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 12 (CHEDRO 12) together with the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-MEID) and the Mlang Rural Health Unit (MRHU) visited SBC last March 25, 2021, to inspect classrooms and laboratories for possible limited face-to-face classes in the Midwifery Program for the remainder of the academic year 2020-2021. The inspection was primarily to ensure compliance with health safety protocols as prescribed by the Joint Memorandum Circular of the CHED and the DOH. SBC has applied for limited face-to-face classes for the Diploma in Midwifery Course.

Re-Opening of SBC Campus for Limited F2F for Diploma in Midwifery Program

The application for re-opening of campus for limited conduct of face-to-face classes for the specialized subjects of the Diploma for Midwifery Program is now with CHEDROXII. The team which is composed of personnel from CHEDROXII, IATF and LGU is expected to visit the campus anytime for compliance monitoring. The LGU of Mlang, through Hon. Mayor Russell M. Abonado, approved the request for re-opening of campus for limited face-to-face conduct of classes for Midwifery program.
